Drying Lotion Ingredients
This Drying Lotion contains Calamine, Camphor, Colloidal Sulfur, Salicylic Acid, Isopropyl Alcohol, De-ionized Water, Glycerin, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide and Talc.
The bottom half of the bottle contains a thick pink solution while the other half is a clear but dense solution. Salicylic Acid, the acne fighter is in the top half while the bottom half contains Calamine, a skin soother.
How Mario Badescu Drying Lotion Works
Mario Drying Lotion dries up the excessive oils in the skin that blocks the pores and cultures bacteria, thus controlling acne formation.
Using a cotton bud, touch the tip of the bud to the pink solution at the bottom half of the bottle.
Wash your face thoroughly and gently apply the pink lotion to the affected area. Do not shake the bottle and mix the solution.
It is recommended to apply the lotion just before bedtime.
The Calamine in the lotion will soothe the skin as the Salicylic acid fights the acne.
The lotion, on application, may give off a sulphur smell but this will soon disappear, and should not be a cause for worry.
By all means the pimple of the affected part should disappear in the morning. Repeat the usage if the pimples are still visible.
